- Age UK: 01444 450248 : For issues relating to age, including an advice line for a range of things: financial, health and well being, obtaining help at home, work and learning and much else. Details of Haywards Heath drop-in centre can be found here.
- Alcoholics Anonymous : 0845 769 7555 : For those tackling alcohol addiction. Includes a meeting-finder to locate your nearest meeting.
- Al-Anon : A useful support group for those affected by alcoholism in a loved one or friend. Al-Anon Family Groups provide support to anyone whose life is, or has been, affected by someone else’s drinking.
- Boarding Concern: issues relating to time spent at Boarding School.
- Bullying UK : 0808 800 2222 : a website for both children and adults affected by bullying.
- (Bereavement) Winston's Wish : 08088 020 021 : providing specialist child bereavement support services across the UK, including in-depth therapeutic help in individual, group and residential settings.
- Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) : 0800 58 58 58 : an excellent resource for young men who are feeling unhappy.
- Childline : 0800 1111 : Useful for a range of things, such as handling bullying, abuse, and much else.
- Citizens Advice Bureau : 01444 458377 : The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice. Website Includes addresses for Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill drop in centres.

- (Domestic Abuse) National Centre for Domestic Violence : 0800 970 2070 : provides a free, fast emergency injunction service to survivors of domestic violence regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation.
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) : Helpline 0300 999 1212 : For those tackling substance addictions (including alcohol).The site includes a meeting-finder.
- Students Against Depression is a website for students who are depressed, have a low mood or are having suicidal thoughts.

- (Self-Harm Help) Right Here, Brighton & Hove : An excellent & local service, including a video guide for parents & carers. SelfHarmUK also has a useful website.
