Consultations

On the day...

Timings...
- Face to Face: Please try to arrive no earlier than a minute or two before our scheduled time. I may be with a client or taking care of admin in the time between client sessions - I don't want to leave you on the doorstep waiting!
- Online sessions: Where possible, I ask that consultations are face-to-face, as this is usually the most helpful starting point (even if we later meet online). In certain circumstances we may meet online - this should be agreed beforehand, not on the day.
- Sessions are held either via WhatsApp Video, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom. WhatsApp is preferred as simplest. My number for WhatsApp is: 07970 362579. My Teams details are: steve@whitestonetherapy.com. Please dial in directly at our appointment time - (I typically don't call out unless agreed beforehand).
- Please be aware: I will consider our consultation 'cancelled' if you're more than 15 minutes late for our appointment and I haven't heard from you (via text/email/call). In such cases we may need to rearrange a time. Please see my cancellation policy in FAQ section.

Consultation Fee - Individual work / Couples Work / Working with minors
- Individual Consultations - My fee is £50 for consultations with adults (as of 2026).
- Couples / Families / Minors Consultations – I charge my full sessional fee for couples/family consultations and for work with minors (under 18).
- Should a consultation be cancelled within 48 hours of our appointment, the full sessional fee applies should you wish to reschedule.
- Payment on the day of consultation is appreciated and helps keep administration straightforward. I accept cash or BACS - here are my details: https://whitestonetherapy.com/bacs .
